Vital Tips to Explode Your Adsense Income by Shakil Zaman

So you have eagerly decided to join the adsense game in your pursuit of online business success. However for many the process of making money from adsense is not as simple as they may have thought. Many struggle with getting their click through rates up, while others have very low earnings per click. Here some crucial tips to turning your adsense woes into adsense glory:

Tip #1: Use all the ads that you are allowed to

This is often overlooked by so many adsense publishers because they think that if they put too many ads it will turn people off. This is not true because in most adsense programs you are only allowed to put adsense on content rich pages.

So if you have enough content, which you should since you are running a website that is supposed to inform people, then you can sprinkle your ads here and there and make it look very natural.

Tip #2: Make your ads look less like ads

People that visit your site are all too familiar with advertising and know very well that you are more than likely going to throw some ads on them while they are on your site. In fact, they expect it! Google and Yahoo both have systems in place to adjust the colors, borders and backgrounds of your ads. That should be a hint to you that they want you to adjust your ad detail to at least blend in to your site.

Make sure though that you review terms and conditions of these adsense programs and that you fully comply with them. One of the things you absolutely cannot do is encourage your visitors to click ads. So try different color combinations that fit with your site.

Tip #3: Make sure your ads are on topic and relevant

Often you will see ads on a site page that is completely unrelated to what that page is about. This is primarily due to either a lack of content or your page is covering way too many topics and is not targeted.

Do your keyword research and have a purpose for each adsense page. If your pages are content rich and targeted on a keyword that has enough adwords advertisers then you should get highly relevant ads that visitors are much more likely to click on.

So, there you have it, some simple tips that I have used to see good results and I hope they benefit you too. Good luck in your adsense adventures.

How To Start A Free Home Based Business? by Mohan Potukuchi

Make $ 1000 per day! Make millions of dollars when you are sleeping!

One is used to seeing such advertisements on almost any webpage these days. Google's AdSense and AdWords are the buzzwords of marketing products, services, websites and what not. One is tempted with the overwhelming expectations of profits and windfalls without doing any work. That is why we have a plethora of advertisements about Work-At-Home, Work-From-Home, Earn-Without-Work and so on. Earlier the enticing words were - "you don't need to know HTML or any technical stuff." Now-a-days people promise you, you can make money even if you do not have a computer!

Most of the time it starts with a let-us-see-this type click, progressing to registration and ends up with a sigh of - 'I thought it was FREE but they want to suck my money.' Slowly a feeling of deja vu sets in. It should be clear that nobody is there to dole out money to anybody for no work.

The best way would be, if you are serious about online business, to learn some things about the basic requirements to do business on the internet, understand what it is all about and try to earn gradually like in any other business. Any business needs capital and certain essentials to sustain. However, with only a computer and an internet connection one can explore to find out the free resources generously offered by several webmasters and experts to carry on their own business of attracting web traffic. Once you familiarize to the internet environment and begin to earn some money, you can think of either 'quits' or 'go ahead.' But my advice would be to never leave your regular job or career if you have one.

If you are wondering how to start a free home business?, you can follow the steps below:

1. Have a computer with an internet connection at home.

This is a must. Have one personal and one or more business purpose email ids.

2. Plan to devote at least one to two hours on your home business.

This is the most difficult part. Neither overdo it nor avoid completely.

3. Open a free website or a blog on any topic of your expertise or hobby.

Do not worry about what others are saying or doing. Every person has some skill or expertise. Try to build your site or blog on things you are confident even if it is gardening.

4. Apply for Google's AdSense program.

Applying is easy and getting approval should not be a problem if you read their policies and comply. Just type in 'google adsense' in any search box and visit their site to apply.

5. Apply for Google's AdWords program.

You may need to advertise your site to let the world know about your site or blog. This is called 'PPC' or Pay Per Click advertising. Your ad as per prescribed format in text or image style is displayed as 'impressions' on others' web pages and you are charged only when somebody clicks on your ad.

6. Submit your site to search engines.

There are millions of web pages. Most of the websites are known only through search engines whenever you type in a keyword in the search box. There are several sites offering both free as well as paid submissions. My suggestion would be to submit to Google which is free and quite simple.

7. Plan minimum expenditure to begin with on AdWords.

To begin with keep your damages small till you have mastered the technique. Nobody will reveal the so-called 'secrets' free of cost. Do not get tempted and waste money. Learning costs but it need not be expensive. Believe me, nobody can guarantee anything even if they promise the moon in this wonderland of internet business.

8. Explore ways to get traffic to your site without violating any guidelines of your web host or Google.

There are traffic based websites. Tread with caution exercising restraint and do not violate any terms and conditions you have accepted or your site will get banned from search engines.

Please do not start with affiliate marketing i.e., marketing somebody's products. Try to sell an item to your neighbor - you will understand how difficult it is! So trying to sell when the buyer and seller do not know or see each other is not an easy affair.

There are a number of resources and free stuff which can be used to develop your website or blog. It's better to read some good articles and books to help you while you develop your Home Business?.

6 Google Assassin Tips to For Successful Google Adwords by Jason Oh

Google Adwords is one of the most effective and quickest advertising methods on the Internet today.

But if you don't know what you are doing you can lose a lot of money.

It is a double edge sword business, and if you are not prepared, the competition and Google can eat you up.

Here are 6 Google Assassin ways to keep your cost down-

1) Use targeted keywords

Keyword relevancy is the key to success with Google AdWords.

Hence, Keyword research is a key.

A good place to start is to use Google's own keyword research tool. This is available when you set up your Adwords account.

Decide if the keywords you are considering has a demand and whether the targeted keyword is suitable to the campaign.

If for example, you are promoting a product such as a digital camera, look at bidding on the product name or if you are selling wedding favors in Sydney, bid on keywords, Wedding Favors Sydney'.

And best yet, look at 'long tail keywords' which often cost less than a penny on adwords, and more targeted.

To sum it up, you need to know who you are targeting, and your target audience needs to know how to find you.

2) Research Your Competitor

Dig up some keyword clues from the competition, and find the best keywords they are using in the page titles.

Then, monitor the keyword performance of the competitors.

If the competition is still visible after 1 week, most likely they are making money.

This is good sign to get in now.

3) Number 1 is not the best

Avoid the Number 1 is the best position.

There are too many 'gungho' clickers which can be costly to your business.

Best position is to look at between number 2 to number 5.

The point, you don't need to be the number 1 bidder.

Bidding lower can work to your favor.

4) Opt out of content network program..

When you first set up your Adwords account, opt out of the 'content network'. Doing this you will avoid publishing your ad in the AdSense on other publisher's websites (which are often less targeted) and can dramatically lower AdWords cost.

5) Write relevant ads

Writing relevant ads is highly recommended.

Not only will the ads get more clicks you will pay less per click.

In other points, with AdWords the more clicks you can get to your ad, the less you will have to pay to Google.

Take the time to work on eye-catching ad titles, and your ad content.

Eye catching titles that can get the readers attention will win the clicks.

6) Alternatively, copy your competition.

This ties up point 2 and point 4...let your competition do all the work.

Most likely, they have done all the testing, and experimenting.

And yes, why not save your own time and money, and just copy their existing ad to get the best possible return.

Google Adwords requires a lot of commitment, dedication and a minimum sum of money to start with.

And if you know what you are doing you can keep the cost of your Adwords campaign low.

Easy Ways to Make Money Online by Jessica Mara

As you may know, there are many ways to make money online. They range from selling products to being an affiliate, to making money using Google AdSense. There are so many ways to make money online, you might be confused where you should start. Here are some easy ways to make money online.

One of the easiest ways to make money online is to become an affiliate marketer. In this case, you don't need a product of your own. You don't even really need to sell the product! All you have to do is get people to go to the publisher's website, and they will take care of the selling and giving the customer the product. How do you do that? You just need to get traffic yourself. You can do this by creating ads on Google AdWords that send the person to the publisher's website. You can also create your own website, and have ads that link to the publisher's website. You can even post on message boards or blogs about the publisher, and people will click through the link and go to the website. If the customer does go to the website and buys something, you will get a portion of the profits.

Another easy way to make money online is to create a blog or website, and put Google AdSense on it. It will take a little time or energy to get the blog or website up, but you can even get free articles to populate the site, so you don't have to write your own content if you don't want to. If you have Google AdSense or other ads on your site, and someone goes to your site and clicks on one of them, you will get paid, depending on what they click on.

Yet another easy way to make money is to create a small product. Yes, it does take some time to create an e-book, special report, or video, but once it is created, you have finished the work and can sell it over and over again. You can also get sales at any time of the day, even if you're not home! So even a year after you have done the work, you can still be making money off of it.

If you are looking for easy ways to make money online, you have plenty of choices. Just go through and think which is best for you, based on your interests and skills. Then, spend a little time doing the work, and you can reap the rewards for years to come!

Use Adwords For Free? A Review Of Get Google Ads Free By Dr. Jon Cohen by M. Smith

The most difficult thing about having a web business is getting traffic to your site. So many products out there hold the claim that they are an easy sell. That may be true but if you have no one to buy it, you're back to square one. And of course there's the internet buzz term out there: "the money is in the list." That, also, is very true. With a loyal list of targeted customers, you can promote your product to an already hungry audience that will most likely buy from you because you have earned their trust. But once again, if you have no traffic, you have no chance of getting leads that can grow your "list." Even if you have the best newsletter, the best free products and a killer website, without traffic, you do not exist.

Many gurus show ways of increasing your traffic through article marketing, social networking, blogging, search engine optimization and dozens of other techniques. While these are good strategies for long term traffic building, most get into an internet business because of the opportunity to make a profit quickly. Let's face it: most of us know that establishing anything worthwhile is going to take time. But the endless testimonials attached to products about how some "newbie" made five thousand dollars in their first month can transform even the most sensible being into an irrational fortune seeker. While many of the previously mentioned traffic generation techniques cost little to nothing to implement, they do take time. And it can be difficult to do the work necessary to build your business when it can take months before you have something to show for that work. So what else can a marketer do? They can buy advertising, of course!

As there are many free ways to increase your traffic, there are as many if not more ways to pay for traffic? So which is the easiest and most effective? In my opinion, that would be AdWords by Google. AdWords is probably the most comprehensive and user friendly advertising system that you will find. It has keyword generators, the ability to test and track ads and ways to further pinpoint your targeted market. The drawback? It's quite easy to lose your shirt advertising with AdWords. This causes many internet marketers to look elsewhere for advertising. But AdWords works, and by not utilizing this tool, many marketers are shooting themselves in the foot and are spending money of other types of paid advertising that doesn't deliver the same type of return on their investment as AdWords would.

Fortunately, I've found a system that allows you to take full advantage of AdWords like the "big boys" do, but without the risk. It's called Get Google Ads Free and is written by Dr. Jon Cohen. His program takes a technique routinely used by offline marketers and adapts it to online use in order to take advantage of the precise target marketing ability of AdWords. In his 124 page book, Dr. Cohen shows the reader how he came up with the idea, how to best integrate it into your current marketing efforts and how to best position your efforts so that you don't spend a dime out of pocket on your AdWords campaigns.

He also explains his method for generating mulitple income streams without having a product or service of your own. He compares the revenue your site could earn with his method as compared to AdSense. Dr. Cohen also gives links to other sites to get you started using his method, most of which are free to use. Also included are tips on how to pick the best keywords and ads (the information given in this section may surprise you) and a free service to get your free AdWords campaign started. The information is constantly being updated so not only do you have access to his free newsletter but access to updates and (my favorite) a "quick-start" guide.

The only drawback, in my opinion, is that while on the sales page it implies that a beginner could succeed with this program, it is helpful if you know the basics of uploading and creating web pages. But even this is covered, briefly, in the Get Google Ads Free program. there are links to website and web page tutorials and a free website creation tool Don't let the hype of the sales page blind you though; it is a great program that is concise and powerful.

Dr. Cohen's Get Google Ads Free solves the problem of getting targeted traffic to your site by putting together one of the most revolutionary advertising techniques that is on the internet today. So much time, energy and money is spent on advertising that could be spent on improving the quality of products and websites. But the Get Google Ads Free program levels the playing field for all internet marketers. More importantly, it takes the sting out of using AdWords. I believe this proven system will change the way advertising is done on the internet. The techniques included in this program has helped thousands realize their online business goals. Will you be next?

How To Write Google Adwords Ads by adsense arbitrage voodoo

When you include the term you bid on in the ad, it will show up bolded in your ad when someone searches for it. If you get your traffic mainly from Google search and for a term like "Build Muscle Fast", you would create an ad like:

Build Muscle Fast Gain 23 lbs of Muscle in 6 Weeks Build Muscle Fast. Find Out How BuildMuscleFast.lnnyg.com

What we did:

We included the term in the headline, the body AND the description URL. Register a short meaningless domain so you have enough room to devote to each main keyword of your adgroup. In this example, the domain is lnnyg.com

For different adgroups, you could have description URLS like: GainWeightQuickly.lnnyg.com MuscleBuildingWorkout.lnnyg.com etc...

The description URL is the second most visible part of an ad after the headline. Why almost nobody uses this trick is beyond me. But I can tell you that it's one of the most powerful ways to increase your CTR, raise your quality score and get more traffic. In most cases it works much better than a "subdirectory" (lnnyg.com/GainWeightQuickly) because the keyword is the first thing people see in the description URL.

We have also capitalised the first letter of each word. This makes everything stand out.

We have also included a benefit in our ad. People act through emotion. Tell them what they will gain by clicking on your ad...

Adsense Optimization Tips - Make More Money With Adsense by Shakil Zaman

The google adsense program can be a powerful way to make money online. However most people that use adsense on their sites are not using proper optimization to maximize their adsense revenue. If you do not have an adsense account then you will need to get one first. Make sure that your site is complete and looks professional.

If you are just starting out as an internet marketer then you can create a blog at Blogger and make a useful post on it then use your blog to apply. Usually google will accept you if you have a blog especially on one of their own sites like Blogger. Once you are accepted into the program do not fool around and violate their terms and conditions.

You may be tempted to try a lot of things when it comes to making money with adsense but you need to stay focused on a long term strategy for success so stay away from the methods that promise to make you a quick buck with adsense and never violate the terms and conditions of the adsense program otherwise you may get banned from a program that could easily replace your day job income many times over.

The long term strategy for success with adsense is to create one or a handful of authority sites that receive heavy free traffic from the search engines. Creating an authority site is another article altogether but some quick tips would be to add lots of original content regularly and use something like article marketing to spread the word about your site as well as build link popularity.

Now once your site starts getting traffic you need to be able to maximize the click through rates on your ads to maximize your adsense income. Make sure that you are also operating in a niche that has dense advertiser competition. This will help in increasing your pay per click because the average bids will be higher but do not expect to receive a dollar or more per click. Be satisfied with an average pay per click in the double digit cents, anything higher is a bonus.

The colors of your ads are very important. Make sure the link color on the ads matches that of the main links on your site. Also make the url color black or grey, this will make the ad headline stand out more which is good because most adwords advertisers are good at writing catchy titles.

Make sure you remove the borders from the ads also as ads that have borders tend to get ignored because people immediately recognize them as ads. The idea is to make people notice your ads and if they notice them and the ads are relevant then there is good chance that they could get clicked on.

The google adsense program while there is no mention of this on their site, tends to reward those sites that have great content, are genuinely useful and are considered authority sites. Make sure your site really is of the greatest quality you can make it, also be sure to have a privacy, about us, contact us and sitemap pages on your site.

Place adsense ads directly in your main content. For instance if you have an article then put some adsense just after the first paragraph and have the words on the article wrap around the content. You are allowed 3 ad units and 2 link units so if you have a lot of content then be sure to use all of the allowable ads. Remember to only put adsense on content rich pages. Follow some of these strategies to optimize your ads and make the most money possible from adsense.

I don't know how someone got my email address, but some drongo (an Aussie term - you'll figure it out!) wrote to me asking me to put in just 5 dollars and immediately get back 20 without my doing anything.... one of those "instant cash doubler" schemes.

After all this time I've got more common sense... and so should you...than to get into his "program." That common sense will tell you that the only way you will get back 20 dollars for five is if five other mugs like you fall for his scam and front up with their five dollars, so that the promoter can pay you and keep some for himself.

All very well if you are one of the first in line, and get your seed money back with just one payout, but that very rarely happens.

I just got I don't know how many of these "miracles" and at least one "Next Product" alert in my mailbox which is supposed to help me get instant riches in internet marketing.

Listen, if you really want to make serious money, you have to be one of these promoters, cobble together a few tips and tricks that anyone can get for free, give it a catchy name, and get one of the big hitters to promote it to their list. I'm sure you've seen your inbox flooded by lots of these people, all trying to sell you the same thing, and with ever increasing bonuses which you will never use, but they sound great.

However, for most of us down in the food chain, that's not a realistic option - we don't have our own product, and no guru will touch us.

Let me tell you, the only solid money I've ever made is from using Google Adsense to make money. Sure I won't retire from it, but I am making around $2.50 a day from my sites. Not much, I know, but what if I had an Adsense network of 100, or even 200 sites? (That's $50 a day for you non-accountants!) That's how much you can make, and that's the secret of making money with Adsense.

You can not only use Adsense on your site, you can use Adsense in Wordpress blogs, use all the Google information marketing tools, Adwords etc.

Of course the drawback is that you have to set up those 200 sites and maintain them with constantly changing content, and that content has to be sufficiently interesting to make a few people click on a few ads.

However, there are ways to do this, using RSS feeds, feeds from other blogs, and other auto blogging techniques, but be wary of not overdoing it, make sure the feeds add genuine interest to your site.

The main problem will be in setting up 200 attractive, keyword and Adsense rich sites.

To do this yourself will take a lot of time, effort and money, and you will never do it if you're just mucking around with internet marketing.

You will have to spend some serious cash on hiring someone to do it for you, or get a website generating software program, and a really good one will not be cheap, but if you're serious, you will spend that money, which gets back to the thrust of my opening paragraph - "If you're not willing to give it all you've got - get out of here!"

How to Built a Profit-Making Website With AdSense by Timothy Tye

Today we arrive at a very exciting topic: How To Build A Profit-Making Website. In the past two weeks, you have learned the first few steps in the journey towards earning a living without holding a job. Let's recap: you have learned to differentiate between passive income and earned income, using the fishing rod and fish trap analogy. You have also gone through step-by-step the essential tools to create your own website. If you are reading my articles for the first time, please visit the other articles I have written on this subject at HappyJoblessGuy.com. For those who have read what I have taught, proceeded to get the tools, and have now gotten a website of your own set up, you are edging towards the goal. Now we can look at how you can make a profit from your website.

On the other hand, if you have read everything I taught you, and all you have done so far is sit on the information, then all that will happen to the information - apart from warming your butt - will be theoretical. You will have a side income or more, theoretically. You will be so successful, theoretically, that you can quit your job, theoretically, join one of my exotic trips, theoretically, have great time wity us, theoretically, and claim you're earning a living without holding a job, theoretically. You'd better get back to your job before your boss makes it theoretical too.

Things don't happen in theory. To turn it into reality, you have to take action. There will be mistakes to be made and lessons to be learnt, but you will grow with every experience you encounter on your journey towards earning an income without holding a job. I can assure you, if you apply what is taught and succeed in it, the victory is yours to own. Nobody can claim your success but yourself. In the democratic world of the Internet, there is no upline or downline, and it's a business where you're really your own boss. Now let's get on with the business. As you know, building a website is just the first step. Today's topic is about how you can make it profitable. As I reached this topic though, I am confronted with a chicken-and-egg situation: if you're teaching people to handle a gun, what do you teach them first: to aim or to shoot? Learning one without the other defeats the purpose. I decided - ruthlessly perhaps - that I'll teach you to shoot, and in the subsequent topic teach you to aim. Why? Because, quite honestly, it's a lot more fun. "How to shoot", metaphorically, means how to make your website earn money. As for "how to aim", that's about how to improve your website to optimise its profit potential. Sounds simple? Okay, let's continue.

Here are some of the ways you can make your website earn money: 1. You can sell your own products and services 2. You can sell other people's products and services 3. You can advertise other people's products and services Of the many, many ways you can make your website earn money the one I am going to touch on today is "how to advertise other people's products and services on your website". The advantage of advertising other people's products and services on your website is, you don't have to create your own products or services to sell. To me, it is quite simply the best answer. You can write about anything, and your website will still earn you a continuous income. There are many ways to add advertisements to your website, but the best of them all, in my opinion, is to enrol in Google AdSense. I must tell you that it isn't the easiest to get accepted, but once you get in, you are on your way to earning an income online. Now, unless you have just crawled out of a hole somewhere, or you've never used the Internet, you would have heard of (and more than likely, used) Google. The majority of us use it for its Search Engine. Do you know, today more than half of all searches conducted on the Internet are done through that bizarrely simple-looking homepage of Google.com? Yep. But as much as looks can be deceiving, so too that simple looking Google homepage, which is a front for one of the most sophisticated technology on the web. If you're a web publisher - that's to say, someone with a website - you have the opportunity to harness that technology for your own benefit by enrolling to Google AdSense. What is Google AdSense Google AdSense is the ad serving program run by Google. It places text, image and some times video advertisements on websites that enrol to it. You are paid when someone clicks on the ads appearing on your webpage. How does Google AdSense work Where do the advertisements come from? On the reverse side of the coin from AdSense is Google's advertising tools called AdWords. Businesses wanting to advertise through Google enrols to it. Their advertisements appear in two places: as "Ads by Google" in websites participating in AdSense, and as "sponsored links" on Google's search results. As a webmaster, you are concerned about the "Ads by Google" that you can place on your website, because it generates money for you every time someone clicks on it. Those who are serious about earning from the web often work hard to maximise their AdSense income, and we'll look into that in future chapters. There is also other programs similar to AdSense, but if you can get AdSense, the other programs are all secondary. Let's straight away enrol into AdSense, so that you can start putting the ads on your website. I am assuming here that you do have a website to enrol, otherwise go through the earlier chapters to read about how you can go about setting one up. Now let's get on with the business.

To set up your Google AdSense account, go to the Google homepage and click on Advertising Program. Then click to Google AdSense and follow the steps to sign up. I will leave you to set up the account and submit the application. Google will evaluate your website to determine whether or not they will to enrol you. You will receive a notification from Google after a few days of submitting your application, informing you whether or not Google has approved or rejected your application. Yes, Google may reject your application if they find that the website you show them is not suitable for their ads. For that reason, it may be to ensure you have some content on your website before attempting to apply with Google.

Assuming that after submitting your application, you received the happy news that Google accepted your application, then you're in. The bad news is, now the real work has just begun!

As you probably expect by now, putting up a website and throwing advertisements into it is just the tip of the iceberg. Sure, you now have a profit-making website, but if you leave it as it is, the amount of profit you make is going to be minuscule.

I will cover the steps to take to optimise your website to make a profit. For now, I would urge you to proceed to set up your AdSense account and get familiar with it.

Google AdWords Is Not Google AdSense by Tony Markx

It is interesting to note just how common and daily vocabulary has changed with the times. Five years ago, if you asked someone to google up something, he might not understand what you mean even if he was familiar with the search engine of that name.

Today, however, everyone knows what you mean. That can only point to Google's popularity and how it has come to be identified with looking up information on the Web. One can only imagine what new words Google, and companies like it, will introduce to the vocabulary five years from now and what they could possibly mean.

Even now, there are new terms that are making the rounds in everyday conversation, words that Google has invented. If you're at all familiar with advertising on Google, then you've probably heard the terms AdWords and AdSense.

Perhaps, though like most people, while you may be familiar with terms you may not know what they are actually referring to. One mistake that's commonly being made nowadays is to interchange AdWords and AdSense, thinking that these two mean the same thing.

Fundamentally, interchanging them is a mistake because the two words are referring to two different things albeit they are very closely related to each other. This article will help you understand the differences between them, how they work together, and perhaps more importantly, how it can help you earn a little more money on the side.

AdWords and AdSense are part of Google's advertising arm that is part of the company's growing range of services. If you've used Google to look up information, then you've encountered AdWords. They are the text ads that appear on the results page of your search.

AdWords works by matching a Google user with Google's paying advertisers. But instead of just showing random ads that the user you may not be interested in (or worse, be irritated at) Google will present ads that have something to do with what the user is currently looking up.

Take Sam, for example, who is looking up information on rock climbing. Sam types in the words rock climbing sport and hits the search button. Google will then present Sam with a list of webpages that contain information about that topic. Along with this listing, there appear text ads from companies offering products and services regarding rock climbing as a sport.

One of these companies is owned by Jim, who runs a rock climbing facility in the town Sam lives in. Jim is able to advertise on Google by signing up his company's website with AdWords. He tells Google that he'd like his text ads to appear on result pages for the keywords sport rock climbing which is what Sam used to look up information. This is how Sam is able to see Jim's ad on Google.

However, Jim doesn't pay Google for just showing his ad. He doesn't pay anything until someone like Sam clicks on the ad to visit Jim's website. This is the pay-per-click (PPC) system, which is fundamentally how AdWords works.

Part of this setup is the ability of Google advertisers, like Jim, to set the price of how much the cost per click (CPC) will be on the ads posted on Google results pages. Popular keywords like sport rock climbing may command a higher CPC compared to other less popular keywords, but may be just as effective when it comes to advertising on Google.

AdSense works along side AdWords. While AdWords are text advertisements that appear inside Google's results pages. AdSense are AdWords that appear outside Google's website and onto other people's websites.

Take Jen, for example, who maintains a website for the local rock climbing enthusiasts group. As part of their fundraising program, she enrolled the website on Google AdSense. By signing up for AdSense, Jen's website will display AdWord advertisements that are related to the content on Jen's website, in this case, about rock climbing.

Now, take Sam (still remember him?) who is still looking for information on rock climbing. Jen's website is part of the listing that appears on Sam's search inquiry on Google. Sam clicks on the link that leads to Jen's website.

Sam browses through the website and reads up on climbing trips Jen's group have organized. Along with that article, an AdWords advertisement is posted. It just so happens, that the ad is for Jim's climbing facility. Sam, who is now more interested in taking up the sport, decides right then and there to visit Jim's website.

By clicking on the ad, Sam has caused two things: 1. He caused Jim to pay Google the agreed CPC for placing his ad and 2. Jen’s website earns a part of that CPC by allowing Google to show Jim's ad via AdSense.

This setup has made it possible for users like Sam to find information efficiently and be presented with AdWords from companies that are relevant to his search. Businesses like Jim's can advertise effectively without needing to spend so much with AdWords, while website publishers like Jen can earn money by signing up with AdSense.

With AdWords and AdSense, Google has managed to give people the information they need while connecting them to others of similar needs and interests. The fact that it can make fair money out of it can only add to how cool it already is.

Google Analytics and Google AdWords by Tony Markx

Google provides a quick, effective and hassle-free way for merchants to advertise their products and services in the Internet through Google AdSense, a cost-per click and cost-per impression advertising service, where ads are displayed along search and content sites and search results done in the Google network. Merchants will be charged when online users click on the ads that are shown. Keywords are chosen in which the ads will appear, and the merchants will specify on how much they are willing to shell out for each click.

There are various benefits that advertisers can get from utilizing Google AdWords. Unlike other online advertising channels, AdWords enables the advertiser to do away with deadlines and contracts. Google's kind of advertising does not ask prepayment and packages. It is by this method that merchants can manage their advertising campaigns with their preferred performance metrics.

The service gives maximum exposure for advertisers due to the sheer number of visitors acquired by the various sites included in the Google network. Advertisements are displayed along search and content sites and products in audience comprising about 80% Internet users in the U.S. Ads appear beside search results or occupying a space in a results page a user navigates through to get to a site directory.

Google's own electronic mail service, Gmail, also features the ads.

To make the service more advantageous for advertisers, AdWords has integrated with Google Analytics. Google Analytics informs advertisers information such as the channels to which online visitors located their ads and the manner they react and interact with the site. The service enables merchants gain more visitors to their pages. Google Analytics also monitors the activities of merchants that are not related to AdWords, without any charge at all. With Analytics, one can create marketing campaigns that are target-centered and ROI-driven.

The initial announcement that Google is offering this service alongside AdWords has caused a considerable buzz among users. Advertisers have been on their toes deciding whether or not to avail of the new product. A lot of users have started to investigate what sets Google Analytics apart from other analytics companies such as WebTrends and Coremetrics. The tool got so in demand that Google has to temporarily stop interested parties from registering. By the time they decided to do so, over 200,000 accounts have been created.

The service is free for those sites that attract 5 million or less page views. For those sites that garner more views, it is necessary to register for a Google AdWords account. Registration is fast, it takes about only seven minutes to do so (less if the advertiser already has a Gmail email account.) The Help option is functional enough, and the system is available in multiple languages. Plus, Google placed importance in protecting the corporate data of each account, knowing that data regarding web analytics is extremely delicate.

Google Analytics became so popular in its initial launch due to several reasons: First, the fact that Google, a cyberspace giant, is offering it for free. Costs only occurs when the page starts to attract more than 5 million page views. The service is highly functional and has good features, which are more advanced than other analytics tools. Operations like Javascript and Flash events, PDF downloads can be tracked. Though there are doubts that Google will gain advantage from their offer to monitor outside ventures of the merchants, the company stresses otherwise.

Admittedly, some problems came up for Google due to the immense popularity of the service. It took almost a whole day or more for some data to load into the interface of Google Analytics, in fact some data takes more. There are also some difficulties with support infrastructure.

For those who are considering availing of the service, there are some possible concerns that need to be considered, that stems from it being a live or tag-based reporting software. The main issue with tools such as Google Analytics is that downloaded data like audio and video files and PDF may not thoroughly monitored.

Google Analytics is one channel for Google to take care of their advertisers and any other marketer who wishes to make good quality material on the web. The service is capable of delivering high-end web analytics to advertisers, and its integration with AdWords provides timesaving benefits.

Ever heard of the Google Ca$h Machine ? by Sebastian Foss

Ever heard of the google ca$h machine ?

"How would you like an extra $500 - $1000 a week with 15 minutes of your time ?" I'm not pulling your leg!

Make money 15 minutes from now!

Discover the secrets of the Google Ca$h Machine! New foolproof methods revolutionize the power of Google's AdSense -never seen before!-

Hi, my name is Sebastian Foss. Are you like me? Trying to make money on the Internet but only experiencing very few to no satisfying results ? After all, how many times a day are you BOMBARDED with some lame "get-rich-quick" scheme on the Internet?

Well, I've got great news for you.

One day I had an idea. An amazing idea actually.

I have found a foolproof method how anyone can easily make an extra $500 or even $1000 every week with 15 minutes of their time and create a substantial monthly income. This method has never been released to the public before. Very few, if anyone has implemented this. I have decided to share my idea with you. The only thing I ask is you do not share this information with anyone.

This well guarded Method hasn't been revealed until now.

Why should I release this information you may ask ? Aren't you arming your competition ?

I have been so disappointed by the lack of kept promises that all those make money programs made. For many years I have spent a fortune on M.LMs, get-rich-quick, paid to read email, newspaper & stuff envelope scams that I finally want to make and end to it. I know how you feel. The Google Ca$h Machine will bring you a steady flow of money 15 minutes from NOW or your money back! I personally guarantee that if you do not make money using my method I will refund every single dime of your order.

Now before I get to deep into the details let me tell you what the Google Ca$h Machine ISN'T.

It is NOT a promote my affiliate program to make m.oney! It is NOT a NOT A Get-Rich Quick Scheme! It is NOT a Face To Face Selling program of Any Kind! It is NOT a Trial Offer to sign up for! It is NOT some garbage product that refers you to purchase other garbage products. It is NOT a M.LM, a Pyramid Scheme, Gifting or anything else like that. It is NOT like anything you have ever seen.

YOU DO NOT EVEN NEED TO SELL ANYTHING!

Making Money With AdWords and AdSense by Mandrake Moore

It is possible to make money with AdWords and Adsense. Lots of people do. But how? You could buy one or more of the guides to making money with AdWords and Adsense on Ebay or from various flashy looking websites. Most of them are overpriced nonsense.

Some of them offer incorrect information, some of them are flatly immoral in the techniques they suggest, while a few offer one or two useful tips - which are usually available on the net for free if you know where to look.

A comprehensive source of good information is madwords.us

This site is virtually a mini textbook on every aspect of success with AdWords. It also has reviews of popular AdWords and AdSense software and Ebooks.

Here a few free tips from mAdWords.us on getting the best ad spots.

How to pay less for the traffic you need, which means more money in your pocket.

Success with AdWords
Getting the Best Ad Spots 1

The 'hot spot' for high click-through rates (and this is what you want - people coming to your site) is the top three positions - either in the organic results or the sponsored results.

In the sponsored results it doesn't seem to make any difference whether you are number one, two or three. So for high click-through rates, you need to get into the top three. To make money you need to do this as cheaply as you can.

The first way to do this is to bid on key words relevant to your business, but for which there is not much competition. So for a store selling horse feed in Jacksonville, Ohio, you might have to pay 97c to get a top three spot for the phrase 'horse feed'. That would soon add up, and many of the people who clicked on that general phrase would not buy from your local business. Most of your customers are going to come from Jacksonville, or at least Ohio.

A top three spot for a general match to 'horse feed Ohio' might only cost you 19c. A top three spot for a general match to 'horse feed Jacksonville Ohio' might only cost 7c, and your conversion rate (the percentage of people who click on your ad and then buy from you) will be higher.

These longer, very specific keyword phrases are sometimes called 'longtail' keywords, and they can be very profitable. In particular niches (a phrase for a very narrow or specific market) there is often little competition for keywords, and people who enter these phrases are telling you very clearly exactly what they want. If you can meet their needs, your chances of getting a sale from people entering your longtail keywords as search terms is high.

Success with AdWords
Getting the Best Ad Spots 2

Pay the least you can to get into the top three. Obvious, really. But how?

Unfortunately Google doesn't tell you how much your competitors are paying for their clicks. There are various 'bid management' systems which will charge from $25 a month to track your keywords. Don't bother, unless you are a large company with a massive budget and you just can't keep track of your ad campaigns.

There are also programs which claim to provide detailed information about keyword popularity, competitor bid levels, etc. Probably the best known of these is Key Word Elite. I would love to have advertised that product on my site. It pays affiliates $93 per sale! Then I tried it. I found it clunky and confusing, and its results were only intermittently more useful than Google and Overture's free tools.

Even though Google doesn't tell you what competitors are paying, it does tell you when your bid is enough to get into the top three. When you set up your adwords campaign, the keywords traffic estimates page will tell you (roughly) where your ad will be positioned - eg 1-3, 4-6, etc. For example, a bid of just 20c will get you a 4-6 position for the phrase 'computer parts'.

But you want to get into the top three. Try increasing your bid to 85c (just a guess at this stage). Yes! This will get you a top three result. Google also tells you your actual cost will be between 52c and 78c. You can find screen captures of this on madwords.us

Now go back and enter a bid of 53c. Click 'Re-estimate traffic.' Still yes! This bid will get you a position between 1 and 3, and at a cost of between 32c and 53c.

This means you are in the top three at perhaps half the price you might otherwise have paid. This process takes a little time, but truly, if you want to be a success, you have to be prepared to put both time and thought into your business.

Remember you don't always pay your maximum bid - only what you need to beat the person next in line (like Ebay). If you put some thought into it, you may be able to come up with other ways to use this fact to your advantage!

Because effective advertising is essential to the success of your business, you should check your advertising campaign at least daily. Your competitors will be doing this (or you should assume they will be!) and bids can change frequently.

You also need to check which keywords and ads are working for you. Keep the ones that are, make small changes, one thing at a time, to the ones that aren't. Check whether those changes have made a difference. Test everything! What brings more clicks? What brings more sales? It will take a little time, but you will gradually build up an arsenal of highly effective and efficient (ie money-making) ads and keywords.

The Adwords and Adsense Road to Big Profits by Darren Yates

Do you use Adsense to monetize any of your websites?

Do you use Adwords to buy in visitors to any of your websites?

Have you considered combining the two and sending Adwords traffic to your site featuring Adsense Ads? There are huge profits currently being made by enterprising site owners who are buying low cost keywords and sending the traffic to high paying Adsense ads.

Sounds simple doesn't it? It is and believe me it works.

The problem is it can be a real balancing act if you go about this the wrong way. You can loose serious money or just scrape a marginal profit.

First of all you need to find a niche market, stay clear of the Internet Marketing arena there's just too much competition there. Instead look into day to day niche markets. But before you do this you need to consider your target keyword. For best results you need a high bid keyword, that is a keyword that Adwords advertisers are willing to pay a lot for per click.

You can find these for free over on the Overture bid tool. Most bids displayed there are likely to amount to much more on Adwords. For a more accurate bid pricing you can use one of the numerous paid for services that have sprung up across the Net this year. These services analyse thousands of keywords, there bid price, the number of advertisers bidding, the number of searches for that keyword and some of the better services will even report the ad clicks you can expect per day.

One of the better paid for services I came across you can find here www.cashkeywords.com (non affiliate link). They run a list which is constantly being updated and added to. So you will always have a regular fresh source of keywords to target. Currently they stand at around 133,000 keywords.

Next you need to set up a page focused on your chosen keyword. You could buy a domain name for this or simply add the page to one of your existing sites. Grab some free content focused on your chosen keyword in the form of an article from any of the major article directories(www.ezinearticle.com) and add it to your page.

You should also be sure to title the page with your chosen keyword. Adding a related graphic will also help. What you're trying to do here is instil a little confidence in the visitor and avoid having your page look like one of those spammy Adsense sites that crop up all over the place. Visitors will simply click away if you don't put a little effort into your page. You will still get some clicks but you can get so many more with a little effort.

Next place your Adsense ads in a number of spots on the page. You will need to test this to see which positions perform best. The prime spot according to Google is directly within the content of the page. Beyond that a good starting point would be across the top, the bottom and down the left side of your content. Essentially where the navigation appears traditionally.

Once you've got this set up start work on your Adwords campaign. Create your own list of targeted keywords, obviously I'd recommend PPC Accelerator for that. ;) Now here you don't need to worry about using high paying keywords in your own list because you will be setting your daily budget at just 5-10c. This will guarantee you don't appear on the first page for those high paying keywords. Instead you are focusing here on related keywords that you can pick up cheaply. Refer back to the issue on keyword list building for keyword avenues you can explore.

Before you run your campaign go into 'Edit settings' and uncheck all the boxes under 'Network' except Google search. This will ensure your ad appears only on Google itself, with the most proactive visitors. If this turns out to be a money making campaign you can go back into 'Edit settings' and switch those options back on.

Finally set your daily budget low and run your campaign.

As you are probably aware neither Adwords or Adsense report stats in real-time so you will have to sit back for an hour or so before any results come in. Be sure to monitor this campaign regularly to weigh up whether your income from Adsense is covering your outgoings on Adwords.

As with any campaign there are a number of factors to take into account when it comes to click through rate. Chief among these I've found to be the day and the time of day. Some campaigns work better during the week during office hours others bring better results at the weekend.

If you're making a small profit then it may be worth tweaking your set up. If your profit is on a tightrope or you're loosing money then it may be better to move on to a different keyword.

Once you have a winning campaign start again, find another high paying keyword etc. etc.

That's it, if you take action now you'll be in for a nice bonus come January. I'm sure that will help you to recover from the Xmas splurge. :)

Adsense tips for higher CTR by Alejandro Pimentel

Google Adsense is perhaps the easiest way to attract advertisers from across the globe to your blog. Just submit your blog to Google for approval. If Google likes what it sees, it will place contextual ads linking to products likely to appeal to the readers. Each time a reader clicks a link, the advertiser pays Google a small fee, and Google splits that with you.

The next interesting question - How to Make Money with Google Adsense? Here are The best Google Adsense Tips and Tricks for making more money (profit) from AdSense.

a. Strictly follow the rules mentioned in Adsense policies. You will always earn more revenue from Adsense by playing it clean.

b. Never modify the Google Adsense HTML code.

c. Don't ask your friends or visitors to click on your Google ads. Do not include incentives of any kind for users to click on ads. Don't label the Google ads with text other than "sponsored links" or "advertisements.".

d. Don't click on your own ads - Google is much smarter than you think. You should not reload your pages excessively. If you are testing your website layout with Google adsense, follow some precautions. Or you can use the unofficial Google Adsense Sandbox Tool that is accessible from Firefox, IE and other browsers to see what kind of Google ads will be served based on content (website address URL) or keywords.

e. Don't place ads in pop-up windows, error pages or even empty pages.

f. Don't start a "adsense asbestos" or "home equity loan rates" website merely to make money from accidental clicks (accidence). You will never make money out these "made-for-adsense-only" websites. Instead, write on topics what you are passionate about. Don't waste your money on high-paying adsense keywords lists.

g. For short articles, CTR is best when ads are placed just above the content.

h. For long articles, CTR improves if ads are placed somewhere in middle of the content - visitors read the long content and then they are looking for more resources.

i. Use Text Ads instead of Image Ads as users get more options. If you still want to display image ads, consider ad formats that support image ads - Choose either the 300x250 medium rectangle or the 160x600 wide skyscraper - or both, if you display multiple ad units on a page.

j. Google Ads without background color and borders always perform better. Make the border color and background color same as your page background color.

k. Always put ads above the main fold. Make sure that the ad unit with the highest clickthrough rate is the first instance of the ad code that appears in the HTML. Since the first ad unit is always filled before the rest, you want to make sure that ad unit is located in the best placement on your page.

l. Try setting the ad link URL color to a lighter shade. If your text is black, you may make the adlink as light gray.

m. Go Wide - The large rectangle is the best paying adsense format (336x280) - The Google Adsense Publisher team also feels that the best formats are the wider ones - the ad formats that contain the widest individual ads. Try using the 336x280 large rectangle, 300x250 medium rectangle, or 160x600 wide skyscraper.

n. Placing images next to ads or above ads does help in attracting user attention.

o. Blend AdLinks with other navigation links or place horizontal adlinks at the top of your webpage. AdSense publishers are permitted to click on link unit topics on their web pages, provided that they do not click on any Google ads on the resulting page.

p. Organize an Adsense Party for your friends and colleagues - Request them to navigate your website, watch their activity - it will provide vital clues about which regions on your website draw more user attention. Try putting ads near those areas.

q. You can put up to 3 adsense units on a page. Try putting a large skyscraper on the right navigation sidebar of your website. That area is close to the browser scrollbar. You can also add 2 AdSense for search boxes, 1 adlink unit and 1 referral button per product (i.e., 1 AdSense referral button and 1 Firefox plus Google Toolbar referral button).

r. The first few lines of your content are an important factor for determining what Ads are served on your webpage. That's the right place to put keywords in bold (strong) or header tags (h1, h2, etc).

s. Always select the setting to open Google Adsense search box results in a new browser window, so you won't lose your visitors. Click the Open search results in a new browser window checkbox and this add target="google_window" to your form tag.

t. Maximum people think the search box is on the top right corner. So you know where to put it.

u. Don't syndicate full content. If people can read everything from the newsreader window itself, why would they visit your website where your ads are.

v. Use URL channels to determine performance of individual pages. I track my most popular pages with Google Analytics, Statcounter and create a channel for each of the URL. You can even track Adsense Clicks with Analytics.

w. For low CTR pages, try changing titles or adding more content to get better focused ads.

x. Block low paying advertisers with Filters. Why to loose a visitor for 0.01 cents. Use Overture or Google Adwords Keywords tool to discover keywords that are less popular with advertisers.

y. The AdSense for search Top Queries report shows you what your users are looking for, by listing the 25 most common searches conducted through your AdSense for search boxes. Use this report to identify additional topics to add to your site, or to keep track of your most sought-after information. Focus and improve that content.

z. Not everyone has a RSS reader. Use RSS to Email services like FeedBlitz, Bloglet or Rmail to let users subscribe to your blog by email.

Remember, you are the best judge when it comes to choosing ad formats. Even Google doesn't offer the best advise always. For instance, in the visual heat map, Google suggests that webmasters are best served by positioning ads on the upper left-hand side of a Web page. But on the Google homepage, you will find ads on the far right.

Google Adsense - Ads That Makes You Money! by Alejandro Pimentel

Imagine... being paid checks by the largest and most popular search engine, simply for displaying a few ads on your website for FREE?

Well, this is exactly what the Google Adsense program is all about! And when you think about it, it's a revolutionary way of earning yourself a useful online side income. But let's back up a bit...

In the past, many webmasters displayed ads from various companies, via pop-ups, banners, pop-ins and pop-unders. However, visitors to these sites soon got tired of these advertising methods - I mean, who'd like to go to a website where they'd have to close pop-up windows every other minute? This resulted in a dramatic loss of traffic, and in turn made many webmasters to lose profits.

That's when Google announced a novel program â€" Google Adsense. Instead of having to use banners and pop-ups to advertise companies and gain a commission, website publishers could now earn a decent profit by displaying unobtrusive text ads on the content pages of their website. Since the ads displayed were often directly related to what your visitors are looking for on your site, you had a way to both monetize and subtly enhance your web content.

One of the main reasons for its popularity, is the fact that the Google Adsense program is incredibly accurate. By stepping beyond the boundaries of simple keyword matching, it has quickly become one of the most prominent tools to display accurate advertisements. A list of keywords is still used as the basis of triggering ads, but complex algorithms now ensure that non-relevant ads no longer show up on your site.

Google Adsense also gives you the option to be selective about the type of ads you wish to display. This helps you direct your visitors towards certain type of products and avoid non-relevant or competitor ads. To make it possible for everyone to integrate Adsense into their sites, the program offers a wide variety of settings that allow you to alter the ads' size and appearance.

Google offers their Adsense program to just about all website owners. After signing up for the program, you'll receive an HTML/ XML code to paste on all of your web pages. Then, Google will dynamically generate ads that are relevant to your web content. Whenever a visitor clicks on one of the Adsense ads on your site, Google credits your account with a percentage of money that was paid by the advertiser for that ad.

To sign up for this terrific program, hop over to http://www.google.com/adsense It's super easy to set up - just a few clicks of your mouse and you're ready to go! Once you start displaying targeted Google Adsense ads on your website, you can expect to generate a sizable income depending on the traffic flow to your site and how many visitors actually click on the ads.
